At the beginning of the trip, Carleigh was terrified by pool-side goofy....
but by the end they were close friends!
She really loved most of the characters, her favorite is Pluto, and was at a great age for the trip.
We all thought that the Disney line of the subway was really cool, decked out in everything Mickey.
Brennan loved the park, especially Space Mountain, and could not get enough of the water slide at the hotel pool.
He became very 9ish (years old) when he would put his feet up on the seat of a crowded subway car so that no one else could get it and yell "I saved you a seat, mom!" Or when he would run to the subway automatic ticket machine, so that he could "save" it for us before someone else could walk up to it.
Ethan enjoyed the experience much more than I thought he would. He had fun at Disney, and also liked the Museum of History and harbor cruise. He behaved like the big kid he is becoming.
Our early-bird tendencies came through once again. As you can see, there was no line at "A Small World", which is obviously their most popular attraction, as it took us 5 minutes just to walk through the maze of line dividers. It was in the back of the park, but due to the Character Breakfast we went to before the park opened, we were already in the middle of the park when the gates opened at the front.
That's it for our summer vacation. Love to all,
Beth
