Hello from the flip side!

We made it safely to Shanghai on Saturday night-Saturday morning for all of you. I didn't sleep much on the plane so it was nice to be able to climb right into bed! The hotel is nice and has good food and good coffee, which as you all know, is really important to me!

It was cold and rainy here yesterday (Sunday) so Bill and I walked around to some of the shopping malls in the office buildings and had a coffee at one of the abundant Starbucks (another plus!). We didn't buy anything, but found some interested Chinese versions of the "as seen on TV" type exercise equipment....think pedestal stool crossed with bucking bronco, butt and thigh master! Yes there are pictures-but they won't compare to the real thing or the test I conducted!

Today, we start taking care of the business we are here for-seeing the town and looking for schools and housing. Right now we are heading down to breakfast, which is surprisingly "safe", not a sea slug in sight!

More later!

Sounds reminiscent of a certain South Park episode...

Glad to hear you made it safe and sound!
